Jarnail Nangal assumes charge as Phagwara Improvement Trust Chairman

Jarnail Nangal took charge as Chairman of the Phagwara Improvement Trust today, in the presence of Punjab’s Minister for Local Government, Dr. Ravjot Singh, Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, and MLA Kulwant Pandori.

Congratulating Nangal, Cabinet Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh highlighted the Punjab government’s commitment to holistic development under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He praised Nangal as a young, dedicated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member entrusted with a vital role and expressed confidence in his ability to serve with diligence.

Nangal expressed gratitude to AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, and Punjab AAP President Aman Arora for the opportunity. He outlined his vision, stating, “The Improvement Trust will prioritize comprehensive planning to provide affordable residential areas to Phagwara’s residents.” He announced plans for a city-wide survey to identify zones for residential and commercial development, aiming to foster the city’s overall growth.

Nangal also committed to enhancing transparency and user-friendliness in the Trust’s services, ensuring accessible and efficient operations for the public.

The event was also attended by prominent figures, including former Minister and AAP In-charge Joginder Singh Mann, Harminder Singh Bakhshi (Vice Chairman, Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation), District Planning Board Chairperson Lalit Saklani, Mayor Rampal Uppal, AAP Spokesperson Harji Mann, and others.
