Dr. Isha Manchanda, an Alumna of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala and currently a practising Advocate at Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara has published her book titled ‘Abolition of Triple Talaq in India’. The book, based on the Protection of Muslim Women’s Rights, Marriage Act 2019 promotes female empowerment. Dr. Isha Manchanda presented the book to the College Principal Dr. Archna Garg who expressed her heartfelt delight at Dr. Isha’s achievement, stating that it is a matter of pride and joy for the institution and the efforts of the college alumna serve as a testament to social awareness.
