Nature Eco Club of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala inaugurated the Two- Day Mission Life EEP Workshop sponsored by Punjab State Council for Science and Technology and MOEFSC to promote an awareness campaign to protect and preserve the environment by recycling and reusing waste material optimally. On the first day of the Workshop i.e. on 16th April 2024, the Nature Eco Club conducted a workshop on “Making Bags from Waste and Used Cloth Material’ under the supervision of Mrs. Seema Thakur, Convenor. Dr. Veena made students take pledge not to harm environment and adopt environment friendly methods. Ms. Ravina demonstrated how to make bags from the waste jeans. College Principal Dr. Archna Garg praised the efforts of the organizers to channelize students’ attention, energy and potential towards environment friendly activities. She also conveyed her best wishes for the success of this Workshop.
