DC urges concerned electors to check details on kapurthala.gov.in and submit pending documents by September 30
KAPURTHALA, September 23: In continuation of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, the district administration has uploaded the lists of unmapped electors and voters who did not appear for the notice hearings on the official website of district Kapurthala for the information and necessary action of the concerned electors.
Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Akash Bansal urged all concerned voters to visit the official district website, kapurthala.gov.in and check the uploaded lists carefully. He said that electors whose names figure in the lists and who have not yet submitted the requisite documents should submit the same to their concerned Booth Level Officer (BLO) or Electoral Registration Officer (ERO/SDM) by September 30, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed that the district website must be checked by voters concerned with unmapped electors and logical discrepancies, as all relevant information and updates pertaining to the SIR process are being made available there. He appealed to electors to verify their details and complete the required documentation within the prescribed timeline.
He further informed that voters requiring any assistance regarding the SIR process or submission of documents could contact the District Election Office, Kapurthala, through the voter helpline 1950. He urged all concerned electors to make use of the available facilities and ensure that their requisite documents are submitted within the stipulated period.
