Sardar Jaspreet Singh Karamsar, President of the Dharm Prachar Committee of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, announced that all gurmukhs, gurdwara committees, volunteers, and sevadars who served during the gurmat camps organised at various gurdwara sahibs across Delhi during the summer vacations of 2026 will be specially honoured.
He stated that all who served in these camps, aimed at connecting children with gurmat, gurbani, and sikh principles, discharged their duties with dedication and unwavering commitment. To encourage these sevadars and motivate their ongoing efforts, a special felicitation ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 10, at 3:30 p.m. in the Lakhi Shah Vanjara Hall of the Gurdwara Sahib.
A Continuing Movement of Faith
Sardar Jaspreet Singh Karmasar appealed to all sevadars, gurdwara committees, and members of the sangat to participate in the event in large numbers. He said that the service of imparting gurmat education to children is a continuing movement, and that encouragement of the sevadars will further strengthen this noble endeavour.
He added that the objective of the DSGMC is to ensure that the mission of connecting the younger generation with their gurmat heritage, Gurbani, and the sikh way of life continues uninterrupted. He urged the sangat to attend the felicitation ceremony on October 10, extend moral support to the sevadars, and lend their cooperation to this initiative of the dharm prachar committee.
