“Poora Punjab Movement” Observers appointed across Punjab for the public signature petition:Ajay Pal Singh Brar

 

District-level appointments made to take the “Har Ghar” (door-to-door) campaign forward and in view of the growing demand for the public signature petition.

 

Mohali February 18,On the second day of the “Poora Punjab Movement” launched by Misl Satluj to raise Punjab’s legitimate demands, the campaign received an overwhelming response from people across the state.

 

Addressing the gathering at the ongoing stage near Gurdwara Amb Sahib (Mohali), speakers said that today it is extremely important for Punjab to present a united front to secure its demands, achieve its rights, and safeguard its interests. Welcoming the initiative taken by Misl Satluj to unite Punjab under the “Poora Punjab Movement,” the speakers stated that the sincerity with which a common platform has been created for Punjab’s demands is highly commendable.

 

They congratulated the President of Misl Satluj, Ajay Pal Singh Brar, for this step, stating that after a long time such a movement has been initiated, which is not only the need of the hour but also an appropriate step to protect Punjab’s interests. The speakers also appealed to all Punjabis to set aside political differences and become part of this movement.

 

Providing further information, Ajay Pal Singh Brar said that although today marks the second day of the movement, messages are pouring in from across Punjab regarding the public signature petition. He said that to take the petition door-to-door and to collect signatures from every district, duties have been assigned under different zones. For each zone, one observer and two co-observers have been appointed. Any resident of Punjab can now obtain a copy of the petition with a single phone call to the respective observer. Prominent personalities who addressed the gathering included Hardeep Singh Kingra, Chetan Sahor (National President, ERTC), Harbhajan Singh (Advisor Member, UNO), Senior Advocate Daljinder Singh Sandhu of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, Advocate Anureet Singh Sidhu, Nachhattar Singh Kanda, Gurmahak Singh, and Kartik Kaushal.

 

The guests were thanked by Davinder Singh Sekhon, Gurbir Singh Dheera (Youth President, Misal Satluj), Lakhi Jhanzheri, and Sulabhpreet Singh (Youth President, Kharar City).

 

In conclusion, Ajay Pal Singh Brar appealed to all Punjabis, stating that this is a collective struggle based on Punjab’s shared vision. He urged everyone to strengthen the campaign by signing the public signature petition in large numbers.
