Sultanpur Lodhi, June 25
SDM Sultanpur Lodhi-cum-ERO Jasjit Singh informed the residents of Sultanpur Lodhi Assembly Constituency that the work of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral roll has begun on Thursday. He stated that the distribution of pre-filled field/enumeration forms has started from today, and the same is being carried out at a war footing through the Booth Level Officers (BLOs).He further stated that for this important public work, 195 BLOs and 16 Supervisors have been appointed in Sultanpur Lodhi Assembly Constituency. The public is assured that no eligible voter’s name will be deleted during this exercise and genuine voters will not be harassed. The purpose of this exercise is only to ensure that the voter list is correct, complete and updated.The ERO appealed to the public that when the BLO visits their house/locality, they should fully cooperate, provide correct details, and show the required documents. He also informed that the BLOs will help and guide the residents in filling the enumeration form wherever assistance is required. The public is specifically requested to note that receiving the form, filling it correctly, and handing back the duly filled and signed form to the BLO is a time-bound activity and should not be delayed, so that the work can be completed smoothly and within the prescribed timelines.
